He gave the mountains...for peace
He gave the waves...for rest
He gave the flowers...for love
He gave the storms....for renewal
He gave the light...that we may see
He gave the moon...so that we may dream
He gave the oceans...that we may walk and hold hands
He gave the trees...for boundless growth
He gave the stars...for lights in darkness
He gave us streams...that we may play
He gave us rivers...to wash our sins away
He gave us roads...to show the way
He gave us friends...to help us along
He gave us angels...to guide and protect us
He gave us...of himself
A taste of freedom...a taste of spring
A taste of fall...and a taste of winter
Of spring...we slow down to smell His flowers
Of fall...we fall down to pray to him
Of winter...we cuddle up to find him when we go astray
He gave us fire...when His son came down
When our souls are burning up with sin....He gave his son
To soothe our flesh and begin again
To cool our thoughts...to cleanse our sin through our skin
To annoint our body with His love
To clean our souls, Jesus lost his blood
Jesus, the giver of life, the peace of this world
Oh, you gave us all....and it's but a choice to recieve your Word
Words of freedom, of spring, of fall, of winter,
and every season we enter
For with every season...we are renewed
For with every season...we find you
