A grain of sand
That drifts out to sea
The parts of life
That were meant to be
A speckle of snow
That falls from the sky
A baby to be born
A child that will die
A single cloud that
Floats all alone
A tiny bird that’s lost
It’s way home
Dreams for the rich
And dreams for the poor
Some people have stars
They don’t have wishes for
