MY FORTRESS

I could lose faith,
But I fight
I could lose hope,
But I fight

For I know in the darkness
God is forever
My light!
His light,
In every distant horizon
His light
In every circumstance
In my life
His hands, always there
His voice silently still
always inside me
His hope and his love
Always, forever, inside me!
His words
Fear not!
His words
Be still and know that I am God!
Reach through every darkness
I have faced in my life,
Reach me through the darkest days
And the darkest nights!
The seasons of joy and pain
Come,
they rise …and they fall
But His is my rock!
My fortress! He is my all!
