NO MORE WEEPING

NO MORE WEEPING

Dusk to dawn, the day was near
The apostles and Mary trembled with fear
Not truth, nor love, could save their beloved
but Jesus only wanted them to comfort one another

His words he spoke before his walk up the hill
would forever ring truth for all to hear
Angels and saints and flowers abloom
For Jesus arose from the tomb

No more weeping, no more crying
He rose like the Sun arises each new day
His journey on earth was to show the Lord God's sheep the way
Glorious, glorious, oh, glorious day

The apostles knew their savior had come and has risen
Mary, cry no more,
For her son, the sins of the world her son bore
Glorious, glorious, oh, glorious day

Suffering has ended for her son,
Mary showed us all how to pray
Her son, her love, her beloved
Glorious, glorious, oh, glorious day

She followed him with her quiet eyes up the hill
Could not watch his suffering,
but with God in her heart,
she was still

For his journey was for her Father,
and his pains would not be long,
For on that hill, the darkness of the world
would soon be gone, the pain washed away,

Glory in the sky
Every eye would see,
the dawn of a new Glorious,
glorious, glorious, oh, glorious day.

EASTER- He rose –
Cavalry – Be still my heart! Jesus came to save!
Flowers abloom, He arose from the tomb
Glorious, glorious, oh, glorious day!

"I am the resurrection and the life.  He who believes in me will live"  John 11:25

"This man was handed over to you by God's set purpose and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross.  But God raised him from the dead, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him."  Acts 2:23-24

"Seeing what was ahead, he spoke of the resurrection of the Christ, that he was not abandoned to the grave, nor did his body see decay.  God raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of the fact.  Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear."  Acts 2: 31-33

"When the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons" Galatians 4:4-5

"I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty.  I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.  I can do everything through him who gives me strength." Phillippians 4:12-13
